In art we wrote Haiku poems to go with our winter trees. - Selina

In grade 5 math we are working on our multiplication word patterns. - Addison
In grade 4 math we are learning 3-digit by 1-digit and 4-digit by 1-digit multiplication. It is really fun! - Jesse
In music we are playing nursery rhymes on the ukuleles for the younger students. - Mallory
We are doing science stations where we are testing different magnet experiments out. We are recording our information in our science books. - William and Cole
Ms. Russell read more of "The Littlest Bigfoot" and Millie has been allowed to go on "The Next Stage." Alice is going for a medical test to find out what type of creature she is... - Selina

Happy Friyay!
This week we did a winter tree art project. We used pastels and water colour paint. - Addison
This week in grade 4 math we were learning how to multiply 2-digit by 1-digit numbers. We used strategies like skip counting and making our groups. - Bella
In grade 5 math, we did a multiplication word problem scavenger hunt. - Gia
This week in our English Language Arts groups we did our stations and one day of guided writing. The stations are guided reading, listen to reading, word work and reader's response. In guided writing we are writing "friendly letters." - Cadence
In science we are starting a new unit on magnetism and electricity. We also watched Bill Nye! - Jheanique and Addison
In gym this week we have been playing some games like "Battleship" and "Fortress." - Cole
In music we started a new unit with Ukuleles. - Stella
In our class novel "The Littlest Bigfoot" we found out that Alice might be a bigfoot because her baby picture showed hair on her ankle. - Stella
