Happy Friday!

It has been a busy week of skiing/snowboarding at COP! All in all students had a great time and we had perfect weather! Thanks to all our parent volunteers for their help!

On Monday we finished our abstract self-portraits in art. We used chalk pastels, black glue, and patterns.

We shared our black-out poems with Ms. Vessey's class. It was really interesting hearing everyone's own interpretation.

In math we did a quiz on multiplication and division.

This Friday we had our connect hour groups and talked about when we feel angry/mad and some strategies we can used to help ourselves feel better. We practiced different types of breathing exercises too!

Today we wrote about Skiing and Snowboarding using visualizing to help guide us and add more detail to our writing.

*Reminder next week in music students will be using recorders. Please return your yellow forms and bring your recorder if you have one!

*There is NO SCHOOL on Thursday and Friday next week!

Have a great weekend,

Ms. Russell
