Hello Everyone,

On Tuesday we had the Terry Fox run and we got to run around the field. - Hailey

The grade 5's and 6's had a Kamp Kiwanis meeting. We talked about what you should bring and what you shouldn't and we made our nature names on wood cookies. - Jheanique

Today we had our first connect hour. We get into groups with 2-3 students from each grade and we get to connect, share, play games and connect for an hour. This let's us get to know everyone in our Haysboro family. - Selina

Yesterday, we had Safety Day and we had the Calgary Police Service and our school Nurse come in to talk about bike safety and mind safety. Our teachers did internet safety with us as well. On Monday we had picture day. We took individual pictures and a class photo. - Molly

This week we talked about "Orange Shirt Day" and we made posters to put up around the school. On Monday September 30th we wear an orange shirt to remember survivors of residential schools. Every child matters! - Bella

On Wednesday we harvested the garden with our Kindergarten buddies. While half the kids harvested the other half played and then we switched. We harvested beans, green onions, cherry tomatoes, and lettuce. - William

We got cool bags from Safety Day! - Teagan

Ms. Russell read "The Littlest Bigfoot" and Alice met a bigfoot named Millie. She doesn't know though so they have become friends. - Jheanique
