We have started our unit on the History of Canada and it's People
- Students are supposed to be asking their own families about their traditions and celebrations regarding food, clothing, holidays, and entertainment (i.e. games, songs, dances)

Science
We have learned about magnetism and are starting electricity next
- There are sites students can explore on my webpage under "Science Grade 5"

We are currently learning about "Carnaval de Quebec"

Yesterday's field trip to Telus Spark was a huge success and students really enjoyed themselves! Thank you to all our lovely parent volunteers for making this possible! They learned about "Math in Motion" and how to connect music notes/beat to fractions through dance!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
